| New Diabetes Management Clinic Opening in Muskegon
Muskegon, Mich. (July 22, 2010)— On July 26, Mercy Health Partners will open a new Diabetes Management Clinic under the direction of Dr. Hernan Guiang. Working in partnership with local primary care providers, Dr. Guiang, a Board certified specialist in diabetes and endocrine care, will offer specialized services for difficult to management diabetes patients.
“This clinic is about bringing quality care closer to our diabetic patients who are having a hard time managing their condition. The opening of this clinic is the result of the efforts of a committed group of healthcare professionals working together to improve the lives of people with diabetes in our community,” says F. Remington Sprague, MD, Chief Medical Officer.
Clinic staff will work closely with each patient and his or her primary care provider to seek significant improvements in the management of the patient’s diabetes aimed at reducing diabetes-related complications. Patients will be scheduled into the clinic upon physician referral.
