Language Services

Language Services, Interpreter
Mercy Health Partners is committed to giving every patient information in the way that he or she understands best. In order to better serve our patients we have developed a Language Services Program that provides qualified healthcare interpreters for our patients and their families. Access to our on-site Spanish language interpreters and over-the-phone interpretation of more than 150 languages is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to our language interpreters we also provide QAIII certified Sign Language interpreters and assist devices for the deaf and hearing impaired. All interpreter/language services are provided free of charge.

If you or a family member need an interpreter:

  • Notify your doctor. Mercy Health Partners Central Scheduling will work with your physician office to make sure an interpreter is scheduled for your hospital appointment.
  • Notify admitting personnel when you are checking in.
  • Notify your healthcare provider at any time during your stay.
  • Contact Language Services at 231.728.4834.
